I was in Alabama for a week, returning home last night. Today I rode my bike with Star, took a nap, and goofed around with my family in the garden. There’s a lot going on in the main image: melons, worse-for-the-wear dog toys (Abi and Angus bring them to wherever the humans are), and two freaked out dogs because a lightning storm was starting up, the wind was starting to howl, and we were minutes from a mid-summer deluge raging down from the Rockies. I shot these on a Leica M11 with a Summicron 35mm 1.4, and I have so much to learn.
